MEMBERSHIP TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Membership Agreement & Commencement
- By signing an agreement, you agree to comply with all club rules, safety regulations, and etiquette guidelines.
- Your membership officially begins on the date specified in your welcome confirmation, or upon the club’s official opening date for pre-registered Founding Members.
2. Fees and Payments
- All monthly membership fees are collected in advance via Direct Debit on or around the [1st / 15th] of each month.
- Membership rates are guaranteed for the duration of your initial contract term. Regency Health & Wellbeing Club reserves the right to review and adjust pricing annually, with a minimum of 30 days’ written notice to all members.
- Failure to pay monthly dues will result in temporary suspension of club access until the balance is settled.
3. Cooling-Off Period & Cancellation
- Cooling-off: New members have a 14-day “cooling-off” period from the date of joining to cancel their contract for a full refund, provided the club facilities have not been used.
- Standard Cancellation: After the initial contract commitment (e.g., 12 months), memberships will automatically roll over onto a month-to-month basis. Cancellation requires 30 days’ written notice via email or our member portal.
4. Health, Safety & Club Conduct
- Members must complete a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q) before using any fitness equipment. If your health status changes, you must inform a member of staff.
- Regency reserves the right to terminate or suspend any membership immediately without refund for behavior deemed abusive, unsafe, or in violation of club etiquette.
- Appropriate gym attire and clean, indoor athletic footwear must be worn at all times on the gym floor.
5. Club Opening Hours & Facility Maintenance
- The club’s standard operating hours will be prominently displayed and may be adjusted for bank holidays or seasonal schedules.
- Regency reserves the right to temporarily close specific areas of the club (e.g., sauna maintenance, studio deep cleaning) for essential repairs or upgrades without offering partial refunds.
